MacOS 10.8のiMacを購入したところ、ネットブート対応仕様ですので、ドライブがありません。
ですので、仕事で使うCADのVectorworksが使えず困りました。
移行アシスタントを使って設定ごとデータを移動したのですが、一部不具合があったものですから
Vectorworksを一旦削除してしまいました。
その後に困ってしまったと言うわけです。
ネットワークのLANを経由してリモートでインストールしようとしたのですが、
認証で蹴られてしまいます。
互いに認証をクリアしないと使うことができません。
そこでUSBメモリーを使ってインストールCDからインストーラーごとコピーし、
インストールしたところなんとか終了しました。
いまではUSBメモリーと言っても容量が大きく16MBなどは普通にあります。
CDですと700MBくらいの容量ですから、コピー自体は雑作もありません。
インストール自体は出来ましたが、今度は立ち上がるもののアプリの認証が出来ません。
私はクライアントサーバー型のアプリケーションを使ってドングルによって認証されていますし、
正規版なのにどうして？という問題が発生しました。
発売元のA&Aでバージョンチェックをすると非推奨で「×」マークになっています。
いままでは、OSのバージョンが二つ離れていても使えたんですが、
今回はさすがにダメっぽいですね。
非推奨バージョン違いの問題が出るとは思いませんでした。
OSを新しくしすぎるのも考えものです。
やむをえずこのままで代替アプリケーションを使うしかありません。
その後、バージョンアップを考える事とします。
