Xerox複合機スキャナーからクライアントiMacへのFTP転送でデータ取り込みが
成功しましたのでやっと一段落です。
設定担当者のかたにもご苦労かけました。
そもそも、このようなFTP転送を設定する事例がほとんどなく、
またあったとしても SＭBの場合が多いそうです。Windows環境が多いからでしょう。
このようにハードは優秀だけど、ソフトはいまいち。
という製品では お困りのユーザーさんはたくさんいらっしゃるのではないでしょうか。
とりあえず、私の場合は管理画面での煩雑な操作からは
今度のスキャナーの読み込みからは解放されるようです。
（既存のデータは、手作業で取り込む作業が残っていますが。）
OSXServer上のフォルダに取り込ませたかったのですが設定がむずかしく 断念しました。
データの受信テストをするためにいろいろなセキュリティーをはずして
いかなければなりません。
このあたりが設定のむずかしいところと怖いところです。
私はセキュリティーの為にもWindowsを使用せず、
さらに無線LANを 社内では許可していません。
ユーザ設定/オプション 一度転送先のパスを保存しておけば二度目の転送からは簡単になります。 ──────────まとめ
- クライアントiMacでの設定。ルート直下にフォルダ作成
- /scaner 〃 を情報を見る（コマンド + i）で共有フォルダにチェック。
- システム環境設定/共有でファイル共有にチェック。
- 〃 /オプションでFTPを使用してファイルやフォルダを共有にチェック。
- 〃 /使用するアカウントにチェック。
- 〃 共有フォルダ：で1で作成したフォルダを選択。
- 〃 ユーザ：で指定するアカウントの権限を選択。
設定のウインドウがカラム式だと見やすいですね。
クライアントのiMacでもこれだけの設定がありますので、
OSXServerで項目を 見落とさずに正しく設定するのは私にとってむずかしいと思います。
