Amazon経由でパナソニックのビデオカメラHC-V600Mが安い値段で売っていましたので
こちらを買いました。
後で知ったのですがこちらの動画保存形式は2種類ありAVCHＤとiＦrameです。
Macユーザーの私が普段使っているMOV形式とか、MP4とかの保存形式はありません。
そのためいちどAVCHＤからMP4かMOVに変換する必要があります。
そもそもこのパナソニックの動画保存形式は階層がちょっと深くて
なかなか取り出しづらいと言う感じが私には不便な感じがしてとっつきにくいと思っています。
Web上でフリーの変換ツールをいろいろ探してみましたが、全てが英語で説明があったり、
最長変換できる時間が上限5分であったりとか、いろいろぎこちない点が多々ありました。
それでも何度かやってみたんですが
データ量が大きい長い動画ですと変換自体に相当な時間がかかります。
それもあってちょっと不便だなぁと思っていました。
それで再度検索して、まぁググってですね、MacOSで簡単に保存できるか探してみました。
そうすると普段使っているiMovieで変換できるということがわかりました。
自分もいちどiMovieでAVCＨDを取り込んでみようとしたんですけど、
エラーが出て取り込めなかったですので取り込める方法を再度見てみました。
そうすると、普段iMovieを使うときはメディアウインドウからデータを取り込みます。
ところがWebにある説明では、一旦プロジェクトウインドウに行ってから
新規プロジェクトを立ち上げて、そのウインドウで、そこから取り込むと言う操作をする
と言う説明がありました。
実際その操作をやってみるとエラーなく、しかも一括で取り込むことができます。
以前エラーがあったときにはハードディスク、SSDに容量がいっぱい近く、
それでも50GB以上は空いてるんですけど、それに余裕がないために取り込めないのかな
と思ったんですが、操作手順が違っていたわけです。
一手間増えますがそれからそれで取り込むことがでできれば、
AVCHＤと言うぎこちない保存形式でも、そのまま古い形式のビデオカメラであっても
使うことができます。
64GBのSDカードですが型式によってはおおよそ10時間位動作させることができるようです。
自分が使ってるのはちょっと振動がひどくてあんまり使えませんでしたが、
何とか工夫して今度はドライブ動画でも撮ってみたいと思っています。
