今年の4月に買ってからタンスの肥やしになっていた監視カメラの設定をしてみました。
感想としては、前より随分設定が簡単になったものと感心しました。

今では設定が簡単になり、値段が三分の一で、画素数が三倍くらいになっているようです。

同上パナソニック社製のものは屋外用でしたが擬似ドーム型で、固定様式がぎこちなく電気ポールの
ウェザーボックスに取り付けるには大変面倒なものでした。

これはスピードドーム型のようです。

値段が安くても、設定でこけやすかったり故障が出やすかったものはパスです。
これは説明書が英語でもわかりやすかったと書いてありましたのも選択する理由で、
実際に開梱してみると説明書は日本語で助かりました。
設定は① スマートフォンからWi-Fiを通じて設定、②PCから（マックでもOK）アプリのIPスキャナーを使って設定。
の二通りありますが、自分はスマートフォンからの設定を選択したため、大コケする羽目になりました。

このカメラをリセットという意味は一旦電源を入れてから電源を切る。と理解しました。
Wi-Fiを選択しましたので、↑の説明通りルーターをリセットするべきところですが、
ルーターはブリッジモードではなく親子でつないでいますので、そのリセットが嫌で
そのまま次の設定にいったことがドツボにハマるきっかけでした。

設定が前後しましたが、先にカメラの名前とパスワードを入れます。
説明書にあるデフォルトのものでOKです。
ここもひとくふうあって、QRコードをスマートフォンのカメラで読み込むようになっていました。
数字の羅列をひたすら打ち込むのは味気ない話で助かります。

Wi-Fiを先でなくあとにすれば1時間ほどで完了したのではと思います。
よけいなことをして時間を大幅にロスしてしまいました。
しかし新たな疑問が。
- つなぎっぱなしで常時ウォッチできるか？
- 録画できるか？
- WAN越しでないのでDDNSの設定は必要ありませんが定期的にウォッチ用PCを再起動して
つなぎ変えしないと見えなくならないか？
